Course Description:

Heated Stone Massage is a popular therapeutic treatment in which heated river rocks are applied directly on the body and used during the massage. We will be combining the beneficial effects of the hot rocks with traditional full body Swedish massage for a deeply relaxing, unique experience. This class is a hands-on creative experience combined with practical advice and demonstrations.

This massage does a lot of the work for you and makes it easier for the therapist to go deeper in the body without working harder or causing injury. The rocks warm the tissue so that you are able to go deeper because the tissue has already relaxed and released. Your massage will have greater impact and you will be able to facilitate healing quicker and easier.

The class includes a full set of handpicked stones ranging in size from toe stones to a sacral stone. Thirty-six stones are included along with a Hands on Healing tote bag.
