Khalilah Ealy Course description: Physiology I is a holistic approach to the function of the different
systems of the Bodymind.
Students will begin learning about the function of the different cells
that compose the tissues, organs and structures of the body. From basic cellular functions and
interactions, to their unique roles and synergistic connection to each other,
this course will cover the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and
circulatory systems. Required text: Introduction to Massage Therapy 2nd

Physiology
II: Microbiology Instructor: Khalilah Ealy Course description: Physiology
II covers the systems not covered in Physiology I. These include the lymphatic, respiratory, digestive,
endocrine, facial and energetic systems. There is an emphasis on how the different systems support
and affect each other, as well as support homeostasis (internal
balance). Knowing how all of the
body’s systems function together is fundamental to understand how Massage
Therapy directly affects the whole of the Bodymind. Required text: Introduction to Massage Therapy 2nd
