Hands on Healing provides customized programs designed for students with prior massage therapy education who need to complete 500 CAMTC-approved hours to qualify for certification. This offering is specifically geared toward students transferring from other massage therapy schools, as well as massage therapists with lapsed certification who must meet the updated minimum hour and subject requirements set forth by the CAMTC.
These tailored plans draw from courses within our approved 550-hour core Massage Therapy Program, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience. The program is structured as a flexible, à la carte selection of BPPE- and CAMTC-approved courses, allowing students to meet their individual educational needs while completing the required hours for certification.
Students requesting evaluation of prior education for possible transfer credit may be charged a non-refundable Transcript Evaluation Fee of $50 to cover administrative review of transcripts, course descriptions, and competency verification. Payment of the transcript evaluation fee does not guarantee acceptance of transfer credits. Students will receive a Transcript Evaluation Report that documents accepted hours, denied hours, rationale, and remaining required hours.
As transfer hours may not exceed 50% of the 500-hour CAMTC minimum requirement, a student can transfer up to 250 hours maximum toward a 500-hour CAMTC program. The School may conduct a preliminary transcript evaluation using unofficial transcripts for advising purposes only. Transfer credit is not considered final and will not be posted to the student record until the School receives an official transcript from the originating institution.
Tuition & Financing
Our standard tuition rate is $23 per clock hour. Our program costs are too low to qualify for government financial aid. However, we offer interest-free payment plans upon request. There are also several scholarships available to students through allied massage organizations. Please see our admissions page for more details and payment policies.
