Students may enroll any time prior to the start of class, but we do encourage applicants to enroll at least two weeks before starting dates in order to guarantee a place in class. Enrollment is limited to 20 students per class.

We encourage potential students to attend our Open Houses held in our upstairs classroom here at the school. An informational overview of our philosophy and massage programs will be presented. Students are encouraged to ask plenty of questions. It is also a great opportunity to meet other new students and start forming friendships.

Admission is based upon student character, ability to satisfy financial commitments, and ability to complete the coursework as determined by submission of a completed application form. The applicant is notified of acceptance only after their application is reviewed. In addition, the applicant must:
Submit high school diploma or GED
Submit color copy of photo ID such as Drivers License or Passport
Meet with the Academic Director for Interview
Be at least eighteen years of age by end of program
Be physically fit enough to perform massage
Have a serious intention to help others
Have a reasonable command of the English language
Hands on Healing Institute accepts applicants without regard to age, sex, race, or personal beliefs. The school may refuse applicants whom it deems are not well suited or qualified for this field.

NOTE: If you want your continuing education classes to be accepted by the CAMTC you will have to fill out both a MT550 Program Application and a Supplemental Elective Application Form which will be given to you in class, or we can email it to you ahead of time if you prefer.

Admission Procedures For Electives – Early Bird Discount
Sign up and pay 10 business days prior to class start date and receive an Early Bird discount. You must also submit a completed Elective Application which we can email you or fill out the day of class. You’re welcome to come by and drop off your form to us at 6708 Foothill Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 91042. From time to time, we must reschedule classes. Class schedules are subject to change. Please check HHI’s Online Calendar for the most current information and updates. If you have questions about our MT550 Massage Therapy Programs, or Elective Courses; you can E-mail HHI here. We are happy to answer any questions or talk with you about our programs. Please Note: All classes must have a minimum of 6 students to begin and are maxed at 20. If we do not have the minimum number of students by the scheduled start date, we may need to postpone allowing more time for enrollments.
