Fine-tune the basic structural chair routine learned in the HHI MT course. Emphasize proper body mechanics. Introduction to trigger point therapy for most common trigger points accessible in the massage chair. Learn extensive chair massage techniques for the lower back, spine, shoulders, arms, hands and neck. Learn how to effectively marketing techniques for retail locations, private parties, special events, health fairs, etc. Students will also gain a better understanding on how to use MFR concepts safely in the chair. Experience blindfolded chair massage to increase tactile skills. Experience advanced techniques in alternate chair positions. CEUs: 21 hours SCHEDULE: FRI DEC 04 • 10am - 6pm (1hr for Lunch) SAT DEC 05 • 10am - 6pm (1hr for Lunch) SUN DEC 06 • 10am - 6pm (1hr for Lunch) PREREQUISITES: Any basic chair massage course A digital PDF of course materials is included. Unless otherwise noted, elective classes are only open to core program students or certified bodywork professionals in the following fields: massage, occupational therapy, physical therapy. All classes must have a minimum of 6 students to begin. If we do not have the minimum number of students by the scheduled start date, we may need to postpone allowing more time for enrollments. Course price includes tuition, registration fee and 3.49% processing fee for online payments. Registration and processing fees are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible for refund. A digital PDF of course materials is included. A printed copy is available for an additional fee at checkout.
