FOF: Oscillations
Learn the art of deep release using non-intrusive, fluid movements.
Description
Utilizing gentle, non-intrusive, natural movements, oscillations can help release deep-seated physical and mental patterns and facilitates deep relaxation, increased physical mobility, and mental clarity. These patterns may have developed in response to accidents, illnesses, or any kind of physical or emotional trauma, including the stress of everyday life. This class teaches the student to move clients in ways they naturally move, and with a quality of touch and movement such that the recipient experiences the feeling of moving that effortlessly and freely on his/her own. The movements are never forced so that there is no induced pain or discomfort to the client. CEUs: 14 hours SCHEDULE: WED AUG 12 • 10am - 6pm (1hr for Lunch) WED AUG 19 • 10am - 6pm (1hr for Lunch) PREREQUISITES: FOF1: Full Body Techniques OR JFB MFR 1 Seminar REQUIRED MATERIALS: Set of twin sheets Shorts Tank-type top for women Water Please be sure your body is free of any lotions for this class. Unless otherwise noted, elective classes are only open to core program students or certified bodywork professionals in the following fields: massage, occupational therapy, physical therapy. All classes must have a minimum of 6 students to begin. If we do not have the minimum number of students by the scheduled start date, we may need to postpone allowing more time for enrollments. Course price includes tuition, registration fee and 3.49% processing fee for online payments. Registration and processing fees are non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are not eligible for refund. A digital PDF of course materials is included. A printed copy is available for an additional fee at checkout.
